Why The Diaper Bag Needs To Be Reimagined?

The diaper bag is necessary, really necessary. Babies need a lot of stuff - a lot of small stuff, dry stuff, wet stuff, smelly stuff and so on. So yes, I agree a 100% that the diaper bag is needed for sure.
I have tried three different diaper bags in the last year. To keep it more real, I will also add the price points.
The Handbag Style Diaper Bag
The first one came with the travel system I bought - no cost to it, it is like a handbag and this is the one I used the most. Great things about it, it was all open with a lot of inside pockets for bottles (adding an illustration to make visualisation easier).
I would just simply keep it on the car seat or on the restaurant table and I could instantly see the bottles, the toys, the wash clothes and so on. Super easy to access. But as you might have already guessed - just way more visible than I would like it to be. Plus I had to carry it like a large handbag. Now carrying my laptop bag and this handbag or my baby and this handbag was just not possible. So yeah, while I liked it, I really didn't love it.
The Backpack Style Diaper Bag
The second one, I bought from Amazon (~ Rs 2000), searched a lot to actually see only similar designs. Finally picked one because I liked the beige print on it. I am not super proud to say it, but yes, I bought the diaper bag based on the print on it.
I hated it - I hated it so much that it ended up becoming my second diaper bag used only for carrying the breast pump and its accessories. It has pockets in the front, and inside and a diaper changing mat. But the design of it was more like a black hole. Once I would have kept things inside, it would be a nightmare to fish them out. Zero on accessibility. The only saviour was that it was a backpack and hence could be carried around.
The Duffle Style Diaper Bag
For the third one, I went ahead and bought a super expensive international brand (~Rs 8000) diaper bag. I know you have already guessed it :D. Very spacious, very high quality, a lot of pockets, but a bit too large. It would take so much space that I actually stopped taking it out for my smaller outings. For example, just an hour out to the doctor, I would for sure avoid this diaper bag. Plus it was still not a backpack.
And my love-hate relationship with diaper bags continued.
So, we finally decided to design one. At Loopie, solving for new parents sits at the core of all our philosophies. Even while designing our diaper bag, we were thinking of it as your most trusted sidekick.
We've put in a lot of thought and effort into our diaper bag, and we'll be revealing more details very very soon.
I love it, hope you do too <3 And always always keen on feedback.
Thank you.
