With Loopie Lap we wanted to build a car seat that works for more parents, more cars, and more real-life journeys. That’s why we chose the R44 certification standard for the Loopie Lap Car Seat. While R129 car seats are largely centred around either ISOFIX-only or Seatbelt-only compatibility, R44 allows secure installation through both ISOFIX and vehicle seatbelts, making the seat usable across a much wider range of cars, including Non-ISOFIX vehicles that many Indian families still drive today.

No. We strongly recommend installing your child's car seat only in the rear seat. The front passenger seat can be unsafe due to the active airbag, which may cause serious injury in the event of a collision.

It is not recommended to install the Loopie Lap car seat in the middle of the backseat because most cars do not provide ISOFIX anchors there, and the seat base is often raised or narrower, which prevents the car seat from fitting flush and stably. Additionally, the middle seat belt is usually not a proper 3-point belt, making installation less secure. For maximum safety, the car seat should always be installed on either the left or right rear seat using ISOFIX or the car’s 3-point seat belt.
